Server & Network Requirements and Recommendations
Yapi Leap is designed to operate on many systems with multiple software and hardware combinations. The following are Leap's system, hardware, and network requirements for your server:
Compatible Practice Management Software Integrations
Leap is compatible with the following practice management softwares:
Dentrix - G7.1 or higher
Eaglesoft - ES 18.00 or higher
Open Dental - OD 18 or higher*
*Note: Excludes Open Dental Clinics

Supported Operating Systems
In order to use Leap, your server needs to be running Microsoft .NET 6.0 or higher. Our technical support team will check to make sure you've got this running. If you don't have it installed, they'll help you get it installed.

Firewall Exceptions
For Leap to communicate with the server appropriately, the following exceptions will also need to be created in the Windows Firewall settings:

Yapi Leap Pricing Plan Requirements
You must be on Yapi's Core or Growth plan in order to use Leap. Not sure what plan you're on? Contact us and we'll check and then get you in touch with your Customer Success Manager to talk about moving to the right plan.
Additional Notes
Only one Yapi Service can be installed per server/database.
Yapi and Eaglesoft must be installed on the same server.
Your practice management software must be installed and configured on your server prior to YAPI installation.
The Eaglesoft client must also be installed on the server.
Environmental conditions such as Anti-virus, Active Directory Group Policies, DNS Service, and/or Email Services can impact the performance and specifications required.
It is not recommended to use the server as a workstation.
If your practice uses a virtual machine (VM) or emulation software such as Parallels, VMWare, VirtualBox, or Hyper-V (this is not common), we recommend configuring your server's virtual network card in bridged mode on the host computer.
