12/18 | We've made some improvements... ...and fixed some things: Forms that have automation set on an interval are no longer sent to new patients to avoid duplicate forms being sent. New patients will continue to receive their new patient forms and any forms with automation set for a specific procedure. Some offices reported that new patients weren't receiving their New Patient Welcome message or their appointment reminders. This has been fixed. You can now set a patient's insurance eligibility status manually if their status shows as "Error." Medical History forms no longer update a patient's birthday to 00/00/0000 in Eaglesoft.
|
11/20 | We've made some improvements... Yapi Leap now support emojis for texting! ❤️ 😎 🎉 When using Leap on a touch screen device, just use the emoji keyboard; on your desktop, right-click within the text and select any emoji you like! Insurance Verification automation now checks patients' eligibility a set number of days before the appointment and for any new appointments scheduled within that window, checks at 7pm Pacific time the day the appointment was scheduled. If a patient's insurance isn't one that Yapi is able to check insurance eligibility for, then the Check Status button next to that insurance will now be disabled.
...and fixed some things: When entering a phone number, forms were previously instructing patients to enter the number with spaces but then not accepting the phone number as entered. To fix this, you'll need to update any of your forms that contain a Contact Info question: simply delete the question from the form in the Form Editor and add it back.. For forms, required questions with an "Other" option no longer require an entry in the "Other" text field. Adding a package or form to the New Patient Welcome text template in Appointment Reminders no longer adds the link twice. If you've experienced a duplicated link in your New Patient Welcome reminder, we recommend you check your template, remove any duplicate text that's not highlighted in orange, and click Save Template. If forms are sent to a new patient via the In Office tab before Leap is able to send them their automated New Patient Welcome Text, the patient no longer receives multiple copies of the same form. Form packages sent via automation now show the correct, updated titles in the correct order when sent to patients. If a patient removes a medical condition, medication, or allergy on their Medical History form because it no longer applies, Leap now makes this update in Eaglesoft when the patient's form is filed. On forms, questions that are set to have multiple columns now show with the appropriate number of columns on tablets with smaller screens like the iPad Air 2. Some offices reported that after editing their Confirmation Text template for Appointment Reminders, patients were still receiving reminders with the previous, unedited wording. This has been fixed. In the Insurance tab of a patient's Profile page, the Benefit End Date now shows the correct date. We received several reports that Insurance Verification automation wasn't running its scheduled checks. This has been fixed. The Check Status button is no longer enabled for practices that don't have Yapi's Insurance Verification feature added to their plan.
|
8/28 | We've made some improvements... Automation is available for insurance verification: you now can set Leap to automatically check a patient's insurance eligibility before their appointment. We've improved sync times for Leap so that appointments added to your schedule appear sooner on the Leap homepage.
...and fixed some things: |
8/13 | We've made some improvements... ...and fixed some things: Some practices reported seeing an error message when trying to access patient profiles. This has been fixed. Some practices reported issues with Medical Conditions and Medication questions in the Form Editor and both these issues have been fixed: Medical Conditions and Medication questions could not be added to forms. When editing which Medical Conditions appeared on a form, changes wouldn't save.
|
7/30 | We've made some improvements... You can now resend a Pending Forms request by selecting Resend in the 3-dot menu. Resending forms to a patient re-enables the link they've already received instead of creating a new link. Also, if a patient couldn't access their forms because they couldn't validate their identity, resending the forms resets the validation so they can try again. We've improved how we search for dependents, reducing errors when checking patient eligibility. Yapi now supports Eaglesoft version 24.00.07.
...and fixed some things: Some practices reported new appointments not syncing to Leap. This has been fixed. Campaigns now merge in all appropriate practice contact information when there is a merge tag for it in the campaign template. Some practices reported appointment reminders listing an incorrect appointment time. This has been fixed.
|
7/8 | We've made some improvements... You can now set Pending Forms to file automatically into Eaglesoft before a patient's appointment. This excludes forms that require a provider signature; these will stay in Leap until a provider signs them at or after the appointment. For your records, when a patient breaks their appointment and they don't have any future appointments scheduled, Leap auto-files any forms they've completed, including ones that would normally require a provider signature.
...and fixed some things: We had some reports of links not appearing in the appropriate confirmation reminders even though form automation had been set up for them. This has been fixed. Returning patients are no longer marked as new patients on the homepage. Some users reported not being able to view other pages in their Notifications. This has been fixed.
|
6/18 | We've made some improvements... You can now set forms and packages to automatically send to patients based on a specific interval or a procedure of your choice. Note that this feature is currently available for individual patients only; automation for families (with appointments on the same day) will be added at a later date. Text templates now allow up to 1,200 characters. Patients no longer need a ZIP/Postal code entered in Eaglesoft to have forms assigned to them. When assigning forms to patients, adding a custom package name is now optional. You can now rearrange the order of forms in a package by dragging and dropping. Because a question tag can only be used once per form, Leap now prevents you from adding a question tag that's already been used. Some tags also add automatic validation to a question so patients don't enter the wrong information (e.g. phone numbers are limited to 10 digits and SSNs are limited to 9 digits).
...and fixed some things: When patients are sent forms via email or text, the communication no longer mentions needing to enter a ZIP/Postal code to access their forms. (As of 6/4/24, ZIP/Postal Codes are no longer needed for patients to access their forms.) When rescheduling an appointment day of, patients with incomplete forms no longer stay in the Pending Forms tab and the forms can be deleted. When sending an email campaign that contains a merge tag for your Practice Text Number, Leap now consistently includes the most recent Text Message Number listed on your Practice Information page. Some clients reported patients' completed appointments changing from completed to confirmed in Eaglesoft whenever family members confirmed future appointments. This has been fixed.
|
6/4 | We've made some improvements... New Reviews feature: Automate Google Review requests to send via text after each patient's appointment. When filling out forms before their appointment, patients no longer need to enter their ZIP/Postal Code to confirm their identity. Improved reliability when sending text messages. When using the Fill Appt feature to fill a broken appointment and you send to your Recall list, Leap automatically texts 10 patients at a time until a patient texts back "Yes." Leap then schedules the appointment in Eaglesoft and stops sending texts to fill it. When using Fill Appointments, patients with incomplete data (like a missing mobile number) no longer show in list of patients to send to.
...and fixed some things. Notifications marked as Read no longer count toward the unread message count in the red Notifications icon. Some clients have reported the New Patient Welcome Text Message not being sent, even though the setting was enabled. This has been fixed.
|
5/21 | We've made some improvements... Leap's Form Editor now has a Smart Signature option: Patient/Parent/Guardian signatures automatically include a dropdown for the signer to select their relationship to the patient. Provider Signatures include a dropdown with a list of providers at your practice. Provider Signature fields don't show for patients when they fill out their forms so they don't accidentally sign in the wrong place.
Any applicable insurance disclaimers now display in a patient's Eligibility & Benefits Report We've added search bars to the Coinsurance section and the Frequencies & Limitations section of the Patient Eligibility & Benefits Report.
...and fixed some things: If a patient doesn't complete their forms before their appointment, you can now have them complete the rest of their forms on an in-office device when they arrive by selecting Assign to Device in the 3-dot menu. Notifications marked as Read no longer appear in the New messages filter. When verifying insurance for a patient with a broken appointment, the patient no longer jumps to the Unconfirmed section of the homepage. Leap now allows for website addresses with hyphens on the Practice Information page.
|
5/7 | We've made some improvements... Fill Appointments is now available in Leap for practices on Yapi Growth plans! Choose to send to your ASAP List or to patients due or overdue for their recall. Recall Reminders are now available in Leap! When a patient is checked out or their appointment is cancelled, any links to forms they were sent expire and the patient is logged out of any in-office devices they were using to complete forms. Campaigns now has a Send Later option so you can schedule a Campaign to launch at a specific date and time. You can now send Campaigns to patients due for a recall appointment and filter by recall type. Sent Campaigns now show stats for how many patients clicked a link within the email. When verifying a patient’s insurance eligibility, an error message will now appear if the Payer ID, patient’s date of birth, or subscriber ID, first name, last name, date of birth, patient DOB is missing. If you receive this error, the check doesn’t count toward your monthly limit. You can now filter a patient’s email history to view only Appointment Reminders. If a patient who needs to premedicate has multiple appointments on the same day, the patient only receives one Premedicate Reminder.
...and fixed some things: There was a delayed processing time when assigning forms to a patient. Forms in the Forms Library weren’t able to be inactivated or edited. In-office devices for forms were requiring the patient enter their ZIP code. Template links in the Recall Reminders tab of Patient Reminders no longer lead to a white screen and the page doesn't need to be reloaded if Recall Reminders aren't enabled. When checking patients in, some patients were showing twice in the In Office Patients tab or not at all. Some forms were appearing twice in the Outstanding Tasks tab. When a form was duplicated in the Form Editor, the resulting copy didn't have the correct name and the content of the original form disappeared. Some Eaglesoft Patient Alerts were deleted when filing the patient's Medical History form.
|
4/23 | We've made some improvements... Insurance Verification is now available! Contact our Sales Team to add it to your plan. You can now add a custom note to your email template when sending a campaign. If a patient has multiple appointments on the same day, their Save the Date (or New Patient Welcome, if they’re new) now shows only the first appointment of the day.
...and fixed some things: Medical History forms with a large list of medical conditions, allergies, or medications weren’t filing into Eaglesoft. The Forms Library was displaying a blank screen instead of a list of forms. Forms without an import category assigned weren’t filing into Eaglesoft. These forms now file to Informed Consent in Eaglesoft or the first category listed for forms if the Informed Consent category isn't present.
|
4/9 | We've made some improvements... We added new campaign templates for Spring, Back to School, Halloween, and Use It or Lose It. Sent Campaigns now show the number and percentage of emails delivered and opened as well as patients who unsubscribed. When sending Campaigns, you can now filter recipients by Benefit Remaining. The list of sent Campaigns can now be filtered by Show All, Draft, and Sent. Emails sent via Campaigns are now included in a patient’s email history in their Patient Profile. Leap now consolidates Confirmation Reminders to show all upcoming appointments for a patient. Text and Email confirmations via appointment reminders now confirm all appointments in the last reminder a patient received, including multiple appointments on one day and appointments on the same day for multiple family members.
...and fixed some things: Some features weren't showing until users logged out and back in again. The Form Editor wasn’t loading, showing a blank screen instead. Past and future broken appointments were appearing in the homepage’s Scheduled tab on the current day. When appointments were rescheduled, appointments on the Quick Fill list were appearing as broken appointments on the homepage.

4/2 | We've fixed some things: |
3/26 | We've fixed some things: Some forms in the Outstanding Tasks tab were stuck with a “Refiling in Progress” status. If a form doesn’t file, you can now try refiling it after 5 minutes. When a form's status is "Waiting for PDF," you now have the option to select Refile instead of having to wait. Newly added devices weren’t appearing as an option when assigning forms to patients. Images that patients uploaded on their forms weren’t viewable in SmartDocs. When patients were assigned multiple forms, their next form didn’t appear automatically when they completed the previous one. When loading the Forms Library, import category names loaded slowly or required a page refresh. Information on the Outstanding Tasks tab took awhile to load. Patient confirmations weren't confirming if a Text Message Number wasn't set up in Leap or if the Text Message Number setup was pending. New patient appointments are now displayed on the schedule before the appointment is completed.
|
3/12 | We’ve made some improvements: |
2/27 | We've made some improvements... ...and fixed some things: Information on the Outstanding Tasks tab took awhile to load. When a patient had multiple appointments scheduled (one for today and one in the future) and forms were completed for the future appointment, the forms disappeared when you attached the forms to the appointment scheduled for today. Syncing information between Leap and Eaglesoft was causing server performance issues for offices with large databases. When completing Patient Information forms, if a patient didn’t reselect their state, some state abbreviations showed in Eaglesoft as the first two letters of the state instead of the correct state abbreviation.
|
2/13 | We've made improvements... Yapi Leap's Online Scheduling feature has been improved; enable online scheduling for just new patients or existing patients, or both! We've removed the Mass Text tab from the Text Messages page to improve your texting experience. You can now easily find all texts sent in one list. For example, if a mass text is sent to five patients, you'll see five text threads in the list, one for each patient. As always you can scroll the list or search to find a specific thread.
...and fixed some things. |
1/30 | We've made improvements... ...and fixed some things. |
01/16 | The Form Editor now supports your Spanish and German translated allergies & medical conditions. Logic used to display appointments on the homepage has been updated to avoid confusion. All appointments are displayed as Unconfirmed unless it's been set as one of the mapped confirmed or unconfirmed statuses as set in your Practice Information (Eaglesoft Integration tab), has been broken or marked complete. Click here to learn how to check what appointment statuses you've got linked. We've moved text templates to the Settings page. A new text template (New Patient Welcome) has been added to the Appointment Reminders screen. Click here to learn more.
