12/19/23

We've made some improvements...

  • Homepage Improvement -We've redesigned the homepage to help you crush your day. See your list of patients based on who's been scheduled, in the office, or has been checked out.

    Leap homepage with 3 tabs: Scheduled, In Office, and Checked Out. Patients are listed with their appointment time, mobile number, and provider and organized into 3 sections: Unconfirmed, Broken/Canceled, and Confirmed.
  • Appointment Reminder Email - When viewing a reminders email template in Leap, you can now see merge tags more prominently on the screen. Merge tags are highlighted now when displayed in the preview.

We've made some improvements...

  • Appointment Reminders are now available! If you weren't part of the beta group and are interested in using Leap Reminders, contact us and we'll do a health check on your Yapi instance before you enable Reminders. Refer to Setting Up Appointment Reminders to see an example of what's sent out.

...and fixed some things...

  • Form not filing after the Yapi service was stopped then restarted.

  • Forms getting stuck in Leap and not filing properly.

  • Leap not starting because the Yapi Service was down.

  • Leap incorrectly adding the patient's last name to on the Sent by line when viewing texts from a patient's profile page.

  • Yapi setting the wrong appointment type in Eaglesoft for appointments that were scheduled online.

We've made some changes...

  • You can now download a patient's completed form using the 3-dot icon on the Pending Forms tab. Refer to Downloading a Patient's Form article to learn how.

  • You can now view a patient's completed form in Yapi Leap. Just click on the form (while on any tab) and it'll open in a new browser tab.

  • The metrics report summary has been temporarily removed form the homepage. We'll let you know when it's back. 😀

...and fixed some things.

  • The Appt Type filter on the homepage was not properly showing only appointments scheduled online when the filter was used.

  • Information not updating on the In Office Patients tab if any of the information displayed on the screen changed once the patient completed their form. For example, the status of whether the form has been completed or if the patient fixed a typo in their name.

We've made some changes...

  • Browser notifications have been added for Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge. This means when a Yapi Leap notification comes in, if you're using one of these browsers, you'll also see a browser notification pop up. Refer to our Enabling Browser Notifications article to learn now.

  • You can now make changes to a form that already has patient responses submitted. Just inactivate the form, make your changes and re-activate the form. Any patients that have been sent the form but not started completing the form will see the updated form once they open it.

...and fixed some things.

  • Forms sent to an in office device aren't displaying for the patient.

  • Duplicate appointments being created if new online scheduling appointments are scheduled too close together.

  • The In Office Patients tab isn't updating when a patient has been checked in.

We fixed some bugs

  • Intermittent issues with text threads not dispaying when a conversation is selected in Text Messages.

  • Patient's medical history form files to Eaglesoft but the medical history updates aren't reflected in Eaglesoft.

We fixed a couple Forms issues

  • The In Office Patients tab not automatically updating once the patient submits a form.

  • Yapi Leap incorrectly changes a patient's DOB in the Eaglesoft record when the Patient information form has been uploaded to Leap and filed to Eaglesoft.

  • A patient's DOB getting deleted from Eaglesoftwhen Yapi Leap automatically files a completed medical history form to Eaglesoft.

Introducing Yapi Leap

Our initial launch of the web app, the Yapi Bamboo release, was a temporary name that hinted at the rapid growth that could be anticipated. With the recent addition of Forms, we are pleased to share our new official platform name Yapi Leap. We hope you continue to enjoy all the new features available now and those that are coming soon!

We've made some improvements...

  • The Upload File question in the Form Builder now automatically sends uploaded files to the same location you've set for the form to go to in the Import Category field.

  • The DOB field for desktop browsers that displays when a patient is verifying their identity in order to complete their forms has been changed from a calendar that displays for patients to pick the date to a manual type in field.

We fixed a bug

  • Patient information not being updated in Eaglesoft when the patient has completed multiple forms.

We've made some improvements...

  • Make check in a breeze by sending forms to patients before their appointment. Just use the new Pending Forms tab!

  • Increased the size of the QR Code on the Link Device window so it's easier for you to scan the code.

  • To Yapi Leap's integration with Eaglesoft so that Yapi Leap captures and recognizes changes to patient and appointment information reliably.

...and fixed some things.

  • Having a problem renaming an insurance provider that's already been added to your Online Scheduling settings on the Accepted Insurances screen.

  • Hidden medical conditions, allergies and medication questions were erroneously being included in the form when it was downloaded. These are never included when a form is downloaded.

  • A form not showing up for the patient when the same form has been assigned twice.

We made some changes...

  • We now show you more search results when searching for a patient from the Compose Text page.

...and fixed some issues!

  • Getting stuck in an infinite loop and never getting to the home screen after logging in.

  • The home tab unintentionally reloading when you close other tabs.

We fixed some things!

Here's what we did:

  • Patient not displaying on the In Office tabs if assigning new forms to them after they've been checked out.

  • Patients not being able to submit a form when the Patient Info element is included but the SSN field is marked hide.

We've made some improvements...

  • You now have more search options! Search by name, phone number, or keyword!

  • The Forms social security number question has been updated to provide more guidance if the patient incorrectly enters information (such as a letter or dash).

  • A new Patient Arrival field has been added to the Practice Information page. This lets you use any custom appointment check-in statuses you've created in Open Dental or Dentrix.

  • Yapi Leap now automatically logs out out after your tab or browser is closed. This keeps your workstation more secure.

...and fixed some things.

  • A "Something went wrong" error displaying when a provider attempts to sign a form that's on the Outstanding Tasks tab.

  • A "There was a problem" error displaying when you attempt to refile a form.

  • Page counts weren't displaying properly when the schedule included broken appointments.

  • Forms with the Patient Info or Contact Info question weren't successfully importing into Eaglesoft.

  • Issues with not being able to log in.

7/18/23

We've made some improvements...

  • We've moved your schedule to the home page so it's always front and center.

  • You can now use periods and commas in a provider's online scheduling name.

  • You can now also hide the report summary section of the schedule if that's something you're not interested in seeing.

...and fixed some things.

  • The "Show All Messages" filter disappearing when it's selected and in use on the Text Messages page has been fixed.

  • Not being able to use the same procedure code that was used in another recall treatment in the Exam, Bitewings, and FMX fields for Online Scheduling.

We've made some changes...

  • Subscriber DOB now displays on the patient's profile page for new patients if the information is available in Open Dental, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft. _We'll expand this to existing patients in a future update._

...and fixed an issue.

  • Problem with the Yapi Leap loading screen displaying without ever going to the home page

User Profile Enhancement

The Role field has been updated to Position on the User Profile screen. We've also added more options for you to choose from. 😀

As an Admin you can update everyone's profile to make the most of Yapi Leap.

We've fixed some things!

  • Problems resending an invite to a pending user if their email has capital letters

  • Emails sent from Yapi Leap now show as coming from mail@yapiapp.com

4/19/23

  • We're continuing to make behind the scenes changes to improve the text messaging experience. If you're on the Text Messages page and a new text comes in, you'll see the text without having to reload the page.

  • Some users have reported intermittent issues with appointments being confirmed via text message. This issue has been fixed.

4/10/23

  • Yapi Leap's able to detect changes to your practice's schedule much faster (e.g. meetings, lunch blocks, etc.)

  • Dentrix Users - Yapi Leap can now recognize when New Patient appointments are deleted from your Dentrix Appointment Book
