Practice Information

On the Practice Information page, you can enter your practice's basic information. This information displays in outgoing emails, shows for patients when they schedule appointments online (if you use Online Scheduling), and can be added to texts using merge tags. This page is also where you set up your text message number for all texts sent through Yapi Leap and add your NPI and Tax ID if your practice has Yapi's Insurance Verification feature.

Text Message Number

For the best service through Yapi Leap, you need to set up a Text Message Number. This is what Yapi uses to send all texts through Leap, including individual texts, mass texts, and reminders. Once you've started your setup, you'll see one of the following statuses depending on where you are in the the process:

  • Pending Submission - You've submitted the request for a text message number but your practice's business information hasn't been verified yet.

  • Pending Verification - Your practice's business information is in the process of being verified.

  • Verified - Your practice's business information has been verified. Leap will now use this new number for texting. For more details, check out The Move to 10-Digit Phone Numbers.

  • Verification Failed - Something went wrong and you'll need to pick a different number or contact Yapi Client Support.

  • Hosted - If you've chosen for Yapi to use your practice's own phone number for texting, this status changes to Hosted when you number is set up and ready for use.

Item

If your office opts to use Yapi's Insurance Verification feature, you'll need to add the doctor's NPI number to this screen as well as your practice's Tax ID. If your office has more than one doctor, you only need to to enter one doctor's NPI.
