Checking Out a Patient from the Forms Page
Once a patient has completed their visit, use the instructions below to check them out of Leap. So your team can handle tasks at their convenience, this automatically moves any forms to the Outstanding Tasks tab that need a provider signature or need to be refiled. To check a patient out, follow the steps below.
Note
This does not check a patient out of your desktop Dashboard or complete their appointment in Eaglesoft.
Important
At midnight, Yapi Leap takes all remaining forms for patients that aren't checked out and automatically moves them to the Outstanding Tasks tab. But we recommend you always check patients out as they leave, so your work doesn't pile up!
Click Forms in the menu on the left.
Find your patient in the In Office Patients tab.
Click the 3-dot icon
at the end their row and select Check-out.
In the Check-Out window, click Accept. You'll see a confirmation message at the bottom of your screen letting you know your patient has been checked out.
Note
If the patient has any incomplete forms, these forms are deleted once the patient is checked out. Any items listed in the Office To Do column are moved to the Outstanding Tasks tab since the patient is no longer in the office.
