Searching for a Patient

Yapi Leap lets you find important information about your patient, without having to log into Eaglesoft. To look up a patient and access their Patient Profile, use the instructions below:

  1. Click Patient Finder in the menu on the left.

  2. Use the dropdown menu to select whether you want to search for the patient by name, phone number, email or chart ID. (This menu defaults to searching by name.)

    Note

    Yapi Leap doesn't search by preferred name -- only first, middle, and last. Click here to learn more about what the Patient Finder can do.

  3. Enter at least two characters into the search field.

  4. Tap Enter or click the Search icon Search icon. within the search box.

  5. Optional: Click the Filter icon Filter icon. to narrow down your search results by Patient Status or Most Recent Appointment.

  6. Optional: To view a patient's profile, click on their row. From your search results, you can also send a text, send an email, or edit a patient's preferences.
