Device Requirements and Recommendations (All Users)
The newest version of Yapi currently runs on two platforms:
A desktop application, more commonly called the Practice Dashboard.
A web-based application called Yapi Leap that's accessible via my.yapiapp.com
.
The device requirements outlined here only apply to Leap. If you want to know more about the system requirements for Yapi's Classic Dashboard, click here instead.
Hardware Requirements
Leap has a responsive web design, meaning it can run on a desktop, tablet, or phone and smoothly adapts to your device. There's no app to download; just navigate to my.yapiapp.com , log in, and go!

Leap won't save any files to any individual device but will store files on your server. Use hardware requirements listed below for non-server devices using Leap.

Tip
In the unlikely event you experience slow performance or have issues with the app, try emptying your browser's cache or using the app in your browser's incognito or private mode. If you continue to have performance issues, contact Yapi Customer Support.
Additional Notes
For the security of your patients' information, devices (laptops, ipads, desktop computers) cannot connect to the Yapi Service on your server (that runs your overall Yapi program) when set to run on a Public internet connection. Each workstation computer must be configured to be part of a Private, Work, or Domain network.
Environmental conditions such as Anti-virus, Active Directory Group Policies, DNS Service, and/or Email Services can impact the performance and specifications required.
For team members who need to heavily multitask, we recommend increasing the specs for their device, especially when it comes to RAM.
