Troubleshooting Leap Notifications

Having problems with Leap notifications? Click one of the links below to learn how to fix the issue.

Not getting browser notifications for Leap activity? Use the instructions below to check and fix your browser settings.

  1. Follow all the instructions on Enabling Browser Notifications for Yapi Leap and make sure your browser settings are enabled correctly.

  2. If you're still having trouble after you've made sure your settings are correct, contact Yapi Support External link..

If you find that Leap is notifying you of important activity but you're missing it because there's no sound, use the instructions below to check your settings.

Tip

Not sure how to follow these steps? Your office's IT representative should be able to help you out.

  1. Make sure your computer's volume isn't set to to mute.

    1. If your computer's volume was set to mute, (we've all done this at least once 🧡) turn the volume on. And that's it!

    2. If your volume was on, proceed to the next step.

  2. Make sure your computer is using the correct speaker and that the speaker is on. Sometimes after automatic updates, settings can get wonky so you have to go back in and manually tell your computer which speaker to use:

    1. For a Windows laptop or desktop device, follow the instructions on Microsoft's website External link. to fix sounds or audio problems.

    2. For a Mac laptop or desktop: follow the instructions on Apple's website External link. to troubleshoot.
