Generating a New QR Code for Your Tablets
You may need to generate a new QR Code for your tablets at some point — for instance, if one of your tablets gets stolen and you're concerned a patient has access to Leap. Use the instructions below to get a new QR Code.
Warning
Once a new QR Code is generated, any tablets with a saved QR Code link will no longer be valid which means you'll need to rescan the new QR Code with your existing iPads, as indicated in the instructions below.
Click Settings from the menu on the left and select Practice Settings.
Click Forms Library and Editor.
Click General Settings.
Click the Generate New QR Code link. A window displays checking to see if you really want a new QR Code.
Click the Generate New button. A window displays with a new QR Code.
Grab any tablet you want to use for assigning forms. Then open the camera app and scan the QR code that's located in the Assign Forms from a Tablet section of the page (aim the tablet's camera at the QR code and tap the link when it appears).
On the tablet, add the webpage to your Home Screen. You'll need to open this site any time you want to assign forms from the tablet in the future.
Repeat Steps 6-7 for any other tablets in your office you want to assign forms from.
You're all set up! This QR code will stay in your settings so if you add more tablets to your practice, you can come back and scan them later.
