Setting Patient Scheduling Preferences
If a patient has a set availability for appointments (for example, they're not available on Fridays or for morning appointments), you can note their scheduling preferences by following the steps below.

These preferences only apply to Yapi Leap. This information is not sent to or stored in Open Dental.
Search for a patient in the Patient Finder and click to open their Profile page.
Click the Preferences button in the upper right to open the Edit Preferences page.
In the Scheduling tab, mark days and/or times as unavailable for the patient by toggling them to the left (grey).
To select a patient's preferred provider, scroll down to Preferred Providers. Then, toggle any the provider(s) a patient prefers to see to the right (orange) and toggle any others to the left (grey).
Click Save Scheduling Preferences.
