Deactivating a User

If you determine someone at your practice no longer needs access to Yapi Leap, use the instructions below to deactivate their user account. We strongly recommend doing this for any staff members that leave your practice.

Important

Only users with Admin privileges can perform this task.

If a user has access to multiple locations, you'll need to repeat these steps to deactivate their access for each location.

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Settings and select Users.

  2. On the Active Users tab, search or scroll the page to find the person you'd like to remove Leap access for.

  3. Click on the user to open their profile page.

  4. Click the Deactivate button.

  5. When prompted, select Yes, Deactivate to confirm. You'll then see a message at the bottom of the page confirming the user has been deactivated.

  6. Optional: For further confirmation, navigate to the Deactivated Users tab to see the deactivated user on the list.
