Linking Dentrix Appointment Statuses to Yapi Leap
Yapi Leap can group your appointments on the homepage by Confirmed and Unconfirmed, automatically recognize which patients have arrived for their appointment, and update a patient's appointment status in Dentrix when they confirm via a reminder - but it needs a little help from you. Since the statuses you use in Dentrix can vary from practice to practice, Leap needs to know which appointment statuses you consider confirmed, unconfirmed, and arrived. Use the instructions below to tell Leap which statuses in Dentrix you consider "confirmed," "unconfirmed," and "arrived."
Important
Only users with Admin privileges can perform this task.
In the left-hand menu, click Settings and select Practice Settings.
Select Practice Information and click the Dentrix Integration tab.
Click the + next to Confirmed Appointments and select each of the Dentrix statuses you'd like Leap to read as confirmed.
Click the + next to Unconfirmed Appointments and select each of the Dentrix statuses you'd like Leap to read as unconfirmed.
Under Patient Arrival, click to open the dropdown menu and select the Dentrix status you use to mark that a patient has arrived for their appointment.
Click Save. A message will then display at the bottom of the page confirming your updates were saved.
Under Patient Confirmation, click to open the dropdown menu and select the status you want Leap to update appointments in Dentrix to when patients confirm their appointments via a reminder.
