Editing a Text Template

If you need to edit a text template that you or a team member created in Yapi Leap, follow the instructions below.

  1. Click Settings from the menu on the left and select Practice Settings.

  2. Locate the template you want to edit in the list and click the Edit icon Edit icon. at the end of the row.

  3. Edit the Template Name and/or the text within the Text Message box.

  4. Optional: To automatically include personalized information like patient names or practice information, place your cursor where you want the information inserted. Then, click the Merge Tag menu and select the merge tag you want to include. Refer to Merge Tags for Text Messagesfor a complete list of our available merge tags.

  5. Click Save Template. This will return you to the main Text Templates page and you'll see an "Updates saved" message at the bottom of your screen, confirming the template was saved.
